Remember I told you back in May when we announced our new album ‘All Of Us Flames’ (WHICH IS NOW ONLY TWO DAYS FROM RELEASE!!) that I had this idea that maybe it could be the first album by a trans artist to reach #1 in the album charts? Okay so I have no illusions here, we’re not that popular and also everybody hates trans people. But i was thinking of reconnecting to my roots as a college student who would put up posters around town promoting my show or album. I love seeing posters for cool weird art stuff posted up in public places. It feels like a little bulwark against all the giant multinational corporations who put their images everywhere. So we made these posters. And I figured some of you would be into the idea of putting them up in your neighborhood. And of course taking pictures of them and putting those up in your digital neighborhood. You get where I’m going with this? We’ve created a series of posters which you can download via the link in the bio. We want you to help get them out there far and wide. You can put them on telephone poles, bulletin boards, highway overpasses, the top hats of local dignitaries. If you feel inspired to make your own then that is incredible as well! If you put them on social media with a #ezrafurman hashtag, we’re gonna choose five favorites and send you a signed vinyl test pressing of the new album (there’s very few of these in the world, which I’m told is what “limited edition” means). Which could be a cool thing to have once we hit number one and make trans music history. The other thing you can do is go buy the record!
