Sami comes from a long line of Siberian Forest cats and on cold nights, they would play chess into the wee hours and the loser would have to ice fish for the whole clan. She’s quite good at chess as she doesn’t enjoy ice fishing, and I now know better than to challenge her unless I wish to be humiliated.
