my november reads have been knockouts thus far!! please enjoy some mini reviews of some really dazzling, witty, and tummy-ache-inducing books (if you wanna)! 🍂 It’s Different This Time took my tender little heart in its hands and squeezed it in all the best ways. June and Adam, their friendship, and their love made a home in my soul and I truly never want them to leave!! One heck of a debut if I do say so (and I do!) 🦌 Willing Prey was fast-paced, witty, and honestly just a damn good time. I love a borderline (see: absolutely) obsessive big lug of a man almost as much as I love a fiercely independent woman who’s rediscovering herself and healing all at once! 🐚 Female Fantasy was truly a love letter to the romance genre and its readers. When I wasn’t fearing for Joonie and Nico’s lives (and also mine a little) or for the fate of Merriah and Ryke, I was giggling and kicking my gosh darn feet (see: tail)! 🎁 Good Spirits basically felt like BK herself wrapped me in a blanket, gave me a cookie, and smooched me on the forehead. It was soft, achingly tender, and capital L lovely if you ask me! 🥐 If It Makes You Happy was an absolute freaking joy, and I’d like to park my butt in Copper Run and never leave. Cliff’s quest to find Michelle’s favorite pastry did almost as much to my soul as watching Michelle find her home with the inn, the Burkes, and herself *sobs*. ♠️ Wild Card was a perfect ending to the Rose Hill series *sniffles*. Gwen was a total baddie, and watching her find her happy while also encouraging Bash to do the same healed a part of my heart I didn’t know needed healing.
