You can’t beat the original rich formula for the incredibly humectant effect it has on the skin and the light version is excellent for a more neutral, soft glow. It’s a makeup artist staple (and cult fave) for a reason. Not all lotions are equal. The one from @beautycounter, with its fresh yuzu scent and lightweight formula, serves me well for a bit of moisture that sinks in quickly. In studio, with strobes, you don’t always want a lotion that’s too rich because it can look greasy very quickly. This makes the skin look hydrated without the aggressive shine. The newest addition to my set bag, and a fast favorite, @proshine_by_cdm gives that incredible glossy shine to the skin that brings the heat and sexy in an instant.
