A black and white post for one of the most colorful weeks of my life. This week i was blessed with one of the greatest opportunities one could be offered. I was invited to Tulsa, Oklahoma to help do mission work on a farm. To all of our suprise, instead of doing heavy lifting and physical labor, we were “buddied” with kids and asked to help run a summer camp. Through all the tears, laughs, and words i exchanged with my kids, i was able to get to know them little by little throughout this experience. Each day had to be welcomed with an open mind and most of them also ended with exhaustion. The kids that i was paired with were so full of light and i got to spend all of my time pouring into them. I am so proud of the growth in faith that they were able to provide me with. In the final 2 days i was able to pray over my kids with them before every meal we ate, my main goal this week was to leave them with the everlasting spirit of the Lord, i planted a seed and now God will help sprout it and assist them in growth. I will always love and miss their friendly faces and their hugs, the constant rides on my shoulders or my back. Although this trip is over, i will continue to pray for them, and keep them close to my heart. I am eternally grateful for these encounters and I truly believe God has blessed me, through him I have experienced love and I will now continue to share it to others. 🤍
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
