Sometime in 2012, fresh out of #cem16 from the @enterprisedevelopmentcentre of @panatlanticuniversity with a certificate in #enterpreneurialmanagement under a @goldmansachs scholarship,@kelechiamadiobi and I did a kind of trade by barter. I offered him a service and got a free photo shoot in return. Those were the days when @beejies2.0 was in the business of styling. Hair & make up was done by @ayosplacestudio_ . I learnt quite early in the business the power of collaboration,partnerships & barter- it has to be mutually beneficial though. Thank you Kelechi for these beautiful memories of the days when I could still wear heels and let Ayo do as he pleased with my hair. Everything was a fuss from‘ I don’t like curls, they don’t complement my round face, I prefer nude lips, I want something longer, my legs are too thinto I am not really ready, give me a few more days’ I look back and wonder how they all coped with me 🤣 I am learning to go with the flow, nothing has to be perfect, this moment will make the memories of tomorrow, we will lose the gift of it if we’re busy trying to ‘arrange, package and perfect it’ We will look back with a smile 😊 when we just let go. • • • #tbt #10yearchallenge #goldmansachs #scholarship #letgo #memories #lily
