In my first persuasive speaking class, my teacher asked us to "sell a paper clip." Classic, right? ๐Ÿ“Ž Sales has come a LONG way since those days - we're leveraging our brands online and offline - through social media, email marketing, pop ups and more. Sometimes we flail and others we knock it out of the park. This is why I was so curious to hear from @zoyagarg_ at her first masterclass. She has a degree in CS and classics from Stanford, but has nailed key sales tactics by DOING THE WORK. Zarna's book sales landed her on all the top lists including becoming a NYT Bestseller - authentically, no dagger ๐Ÿ—ก๏ธstatus (!) Little Z, thank you for bringing your fresh perspective and challenging everyone who attended (in person and on the live stream) to push past fear and put ourselves OUT there, optimize on phone calls over email, start with our network, and ABC (always be closing) everywhere and anywhere - just as your mom can perform on the NY subway and the Kennedy Center. The content can be across all media but the message is the same. PS - Love that we found out what Jimmy Fallon's true calling is.
