« Atlantean Vase - UEFA », Bella Hunt & Ddc. Bella Hunt & Ddc have created a work of fantasy, a triple amalgam of history, imagination and popular culture. This vase formally takes up some ornamental codes from the history of art, such as the arches forming flutes, or the impressive mascaron, immediately evoking the Gorgon Medusa. The undulating and disordered plant forms that wrap around the vase like seaweed, or the two handles in the shape of marine snakes, inject phantasmagoria into the work, transforming it into sunken archaeology, a vestige of a vanished and distant civilisation. However, the strange and contemporary shadow of the famous UEFA Cup, won by Marseille in 1993, can be seen.
