happy mental health awareness month 💗
my anxiety the past three months has been at an all time high, BUT it’s okay to not be okay. you are allowed moments of messiness, just don’t let your low days define you. asking for help doesn’t make you weak, it just makes you human. you can be independent while still being self aware to know that you can’t always handle situations on your own, be kind to yourself and try to not be afraid to reach out.
rmb that ‘getting better’ doesn’t need to be big accomplishments, it could mean that it’s easier to get out of bed in the morning. so as long as you’re trying to be in a better place than you were in before, you’re doing GREAT.
i started incorporating new habits into my routine and just wanted to share:
• meditating when i feel overwhelmed (even just for 5 minutes).
• journaling what I’m grateful for and small moments that make me happy.
• 10 deep breaths everyday.
• reading for 30 minutes everyday.
