I made this last summer for a job I didn’t get. And for the longest time I didn’t want to share it because it felt like a failure. But then I remembered that @soundslikelucas and I made this song in September 2019 before the world stopped and loved it and then hated it and then found an opportunity to love it again in the summer of 2021. And days before moving back to LA I texted @colterolmstead asking if he could help me make this video and he said “I could do 10am tomorrow?” And we did it. With no practice. No planning. Just love for creating. So moral of this long-winded story... fuck “the job you didn’t get” — it’s your adventure and their loss. ♥️
