GREGG AYRES circa 1979 at the Turning Point Ramp somewhere in Florida, and when you swipe left see him at Cherry Hill Skate park in New Jersey (which at the time was the greatest SkatePark in the world!) It has been announced that Gregg will be inducted into the SkateBoarding Hall Of Fame this year! @greggAyres @skateboardinghalloffame . Well deserved, Gregg had at least three SkateBoarder Magazine covers, and was one of the first people ever to ride a full pipe. His first cover was on the same issue that had my first published photo. Gregg was also in the 70’s movie “SkateBoard Madness” and a good friend. We used to go to some gigs together, in fact the only time I saw Ron Reyes perform with Black Flag it was at “the Church” with Gregg. He was also probably the tallest pro skater of the era!
