Today I was proud to join @plannedparenthoodla, Council President @cd6nury, and Councilmember @cw_heather.hutt in support of Proposition 1. If passed by voters in November, this ballot initiative will officially enshrine abortion rights in California’s State Constitution. Let’s be crystal clear - access to reproductive healthcare is a fundamental right, and the erosion of rights for anyone endangers us ALL. The extreme U.S. Supreme Court has signaled to radical right-wing state legislatures and governors across the country that these rights can and will be taken away.
