#fudeawards2022 Week 2: First 5 brushes you would buy if starting your collection over This week's category was thought provoking and challenging. I really didn't know where to start and ended up going for the ones that call to me the most I was happy to see the results and to think about what I ended up selecting as it sums up my collection quite well. Without giving any thought to limitations around availability or usage, I ended up picking 3/ 5 for function. These are the standout top performers in my collection. 1/5 was a combination of performance & beauty and 1/5 was selected solely for its beauty. I was fascinated to see that despite only picking 5 I was still willing to give a spot to a brush only for the joy it brings me esthetically šŸ–¤ Chikuhodo PF-O Second Release ~ Top performer for powder foundation. I know this brush was not popular and I am in the minority loving it as much as I do, but it just works so well for me with my favorite powder foundation šŸ–¤ Chikuhodo MK-2 ~ A Performer & Beauty I love this design but any of the Chikuhodo makie brushes fill the same role šŸ–¤ Hakuhodo G5518 ~ Top Performer for setting under my eyes. Nothing beats it for my undereye area and it was the only brush I bought a backup of before the price increase šŸ–¤ Shu Uemura 8HR ~ Top Performer for all eyeshadow formulas, especially more difficult to use shades. My beloved brush, I couldn't do without it. Thinking of having a custom kolinsky version of it made someday šŸ–¤ Qusavi x Chikuhodo Porcelain Kabuki ~ Beauty. I don't even use this brush but my collection wouldn't feel as special without the purely decorative pieces I own. I display them around my vanity and they bring me so much joy even on days when I don't do my makeup. The caveat here is that any of my decorative kabukis could take its spot, I really can't choose a favorite among these!!! #fudeawards
