A year ago, last March to be exact I experienced my first Peyote ceremony. Less than 48 hours after I was in Oklahoma for a @dopecreative shoot and met Reza, an owner of @poweredbygreatspirits. As I was photographing flower at his facility he began playing medicine music and the same songs I heard live in ceremony two nights before were now playing through a Bluetooth speaker and taking me back to that moment in time and filling me with an incredible feeling of cosmic synchronicity. Fast forward a year and my relationship with Reza and Great Spirits has deepened and expanded. I’ve been reflecting a lot on everything lately and it’s truly humbling and empowering on what a gift that plant medicine and ceremony gave me. It was the spark and clarity that allowed me to grow into this possibility that is now being realized in my new position as director of creative & technology at @poweredbygreatspirits.
