The way I crave this tuna melt!! @Wild Planet Foods Ingredients - 1 can tuna, drained - 3 tbsp mayonnaise - 1 tsp whole-grain mustard - 2 tsp lemon juice - 1⁄2 tsp lemon zest - 1 stalk celery, finely diced - 1 scallion, thinly sliced - 2 tbsp capers, chopped - 1 1⁄2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped, divided - 1⁄2 tsp kosher salt - 1⁄2 tsp freshly ground black pepper - 2 slices sourdough (or any bread) - 11⁄2 tbsp butter - 3 ounces sharp cheddar, grated - 1 tomato, thinly sliced Preparation 1. Position oven rack second down from the top, then preheat broiler. 2. In a medium bowl, add tuna and flake it up with a fork. Mix in mayonnaise, lemon zest, juice, mustard, celery, scallion, 1 tbsp dill, salt, and pepper. Set aside. 3. Spread butter on both sides of each slice of bread, then arrange on a lined baking sheet. Toast the bread in the oven until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes on both sides. 4. Evenly distribute tuna salad onto each slice, add a few slices of tomato on top, then divide the cheese over the tomatoes. 5. Place the tuna melt back into the oven and broil, keeping a close eye on the cheese, until the cheese has melted, looks bubbly, and just starts to brown, for 3 to 5 minutes. 6. Top with remaining dill before serving. #wildplanet #tinnedfish #easyrecipes #lunchrecipes #tunasalad
