This photo is a favorite of mine for the serene sense of introspection I feel when I look at it. I can imagine myself right there on that bench below the cherry blossoms just sitting and thinking. 🌸 This photo is from Spring 2020. The location is a popular tourist spot during the historic cherry blossom bloom, taking place every spring on the University of Washington campus. Typically there would be hundreds, even thousands of people on the Quad. This particular year I think we all know what was going on. Students had all been sent home. Classes cancelled. Tourists advised not to visit. We even had to pass by some "closed" signs on campus to get there. At the time we thought it was an over reaction. 🌸 Now when I look at the photo I see past the pretty, peaceful scene and know that it was only because the world came to a hault that this photo exists with no people in it. 🌸 @anna.s.snapshots #Holga120N #120film #6x6film
