MIAMI I THINK WE’RE FIGHTING A 48 hour sensory overload consisting of exit strategies, cultural concepts and a rooftop parking garage filled with people I didn’t know I was chasing while simultaneously feeling the infinite nature of being competitive. Did I mention being completely out of my league, swinging above my weight, playing with my weak hand, racing with a red bull engine type of way. I thought I was hungry until I walked into that room full of starving giants. The thing about being inspired is it takes from you as much as it gives you and I find myself standing at the fork in the road embracing the realities of both laws, Murphy and Newton. Attempting to accept the words my father said to me on the way out of the day session in the nightclub. “If you keep trying to avoid failure you’re just avoiding the potential of success.” I find myself standing at the base camp of an Everest type mountain sitting across from seasoned alpinists returning from their summit giving me the road map forward. I’m leaving south beach humbled and inspired with a list of abbreviated business terms I did not understand and will need @americanroy to explain. Have fear, will climb.
