Every year we hand select interns from all over the world to experience wine making in our cellar. They each bring a variety of experience, knowledge, and culture that refreshens the team. For many, the opportunity to learn how to make red wines drew them to our little nook in the valley. One of our interns had been waiting to work with us since 2020! This year our interns came from Austria, France, and Atlanta, GA. From sorting, fermentation management, sampling, and barreling down – they experience the full journey of grape to wine. Soon after finishing harvest with the team in Lompoc they headed to Oregon to lend a hand at @elvwines. This week we bid farewell to them as they travel back home.
