there's my life before #loopholeofretreat and my life after it. the three days i spent in venice this october enveloped by black femme thought, care and endurance changed me. it revealed something i knew was missing but didn't know how to name—to quote #tinacampt—"when black women come together, we can undo worlds." boundless gratitude to @simoneyvetteleigh and @sunrara for igniting this fire, forcing open this portal and asking us to climb in and reclaim our time, our thoughts and our power. and lastly @thelmagolden i love you. thank you for inviting me. thank you for making sure i didn't miss this historical gathering. it gave me a new north star. a new reason for being. ✨
