LAST FEW DAYS! CLOSES THIS SUNDAY... Experience a vibrant and interactive installation at Tate St Ives 🌈 Artist Ad Minoliti uses feminist and queer theory to generate alternative interpretations of painting, design, architecture, art history and visual language. Trained as a painter, they draw on the rich legacy of geometric abstraction in Latin America, such as Argentina’s Arte Madí and the Asociación Arte Concreto-Invención, both founded in 1945, which embraced playfulness in painting and painted on irregular shaped canvases, sometimes experimenting with three-dimensional objects as seen in Minoliti furries, featured here. Explore the exhibition "Biosphere Plush" by Ad Minoliti at Tate St Ives until 30 October 2022. ⬇️ Online Exhibition Guide https://www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tate-st-ives/ad-minoliti/exhibition-guide ⬇️ Book tickets https://www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tate-st-ives/ad-minoliti © Tate (Joe Humphrys) @Minoliti #AdMinoliti #TateStIves #Tate #TateBritain #TateModern #ModernArt #Modernism #ModernArtist #AbstractArt #AbstractPainting #AbstractArtist #Abstract #StIves #StIvesCornwall #Cornwall #CornwallArt #CornishArt #InstaArt #ArtOnInstagram #HistoryOfArt #ArtHistory #Museum #Museums #ContemporaryArtGallery @balticgateshead
