Great match between two tough Shore programs. Point Boro improves to 2-0 on the season with a 50-20 win over Colts Neck. We have a couple of 🐐s here who were former Ocean County wrestlers now a part of each respected coaching staff tonight. James Latendorf who wrestled for Boro and Chris Richardson Brick Memorial. Funny story: Chris was the ref for my Bald and Fat Classic Tournament win back in 2016. The BFC was an adult open wrestling tournament that was hosted at random sites on the east coast and Brick Memorial was one of the host schools up until the brand was discontinued after COVID hit. All the BM wrestlers used to help set up and ref the tournament so much fun I wish we could bring it back. The only thing I’ve ever won in my life! 🤪 Two guys who were real program guys and now helping out their respected teams who they coach for.
