you’re the God of WOW! amazing! how could this be? friday, august 2nd, i kneeled before the cross and truly gave it all over to God. i could feel Jesus sitting beside me as i cried, professing my love and acknowledging His glory. i truly did not know what to expect going into this summer, but i know for a fact that it has been the best summer ever. Springhill has been my home away from home since third grade, and i couldn’t be more grateful for this place and these people God blessed me with. this summer i learned so many simple truths about Gods love for me and for you, and i think that it is so important to just go back to the simple gospel and reteach yourself the truths of the Lord. He is limitless, He is different, He is love, He offers help, and He deserves all of me. thank you to my cocounselors. carmina, thank you for being my best friend and walking with me every step of the way this summer. God provided me with such a great friendship through you and i am so grateful each day. sam, thank you for teaching me so much about the Lord and showing me what it’s like to truly seek a relationship with the Lord. you are such an inspiration to many with your faith and the things you are doing for His kingdom. averie, thank you for being someone i can look up to and follow as a guide for prayer and someone who truly loves the Lord. you are such a sweet soul and i am so grateful for my time spent with you in clever foxes. daron, thank you for all your support during the last week of camp. you truly integrate the faith and fun of camp and i would not have been able to work with those boys without you. thank you God for springhill and for all the people you put on my path this summer. i thank you for all the tears, prayers, worship sessions, children, brain rot words, and the people that i have met. i will never stop bragging about this place and sharing the good news of all the lives that were saved this summer 💌
