Setting goals is the first step in making the impossible possible. I’ve got PLANS. To be fair, I have big plans every year, month, week, and day. Every big thing I have ever accomplished has originated as a New Year’s goal. From moving to NYC, buying a home, losing weight, making content creation a career. 🎉 Sometimes the goal is just survival or making it through the day. But you can’t get to your where you’re going if you are too afraid to set the destination. 😏 A few goal rules I live by that are a bit outside the box.... 1. Make the goal bigger and better than you actually believe possible. You’d be surprised how much further you will get. 2. Be ok with flexibility. Maybe your priorities change. Maybe your timeline shifts. It doesn’t mean you failed. It means what you want and need became clearer. 3. Break down the big goals into small steps and allowing yourself to miss some. You can miss a workout and still keep going. You can sleep in once in a while and still work towards becoming a morning person. 4. Tell someone or write it down. Make yourself accountable. I have countless notes on my phone and plans I shared with friends that didn’t come to life. Be brave! Share one of your goals with me. I promise to cheer you on 👏🏼
