Some life things — My next song “My Other Friend” comes out tomorrow!!! It’s gonna be the last single for a while. I’ve been putting out a song every two weeks or so since I put out Chaperone on Jan 24th. I wanted to keep it going for a year but I’m pretty busy in July with some exciting projects (below) and I’ve decided it’s ok to shift my focus for a bit. That being said I’m HYPE on “My Other Friend”. I’m grateful to share this piece with @chloemk, an artist who has really inspired me this past year. This song just tumbled out of me - I’m still not exactly sure what it means but I feel hopeful when I sing it. Some of my songs sound good quiet and some of them sound good loud. This one is for y’all to turn that shit up, wub wub Exciting projects: I’m making some wild noises with @samspacemax - think braying horses in the chaos right before a thunderstorm. And I’m finishing production @alexiaavina’s album and I cannot f0cking wait for y’all to hear it. And this month I’ll be traveling around with @daisythegreatband playing festivals. Among the list of fests is Lollapalooza which needless to say is a BIG bucket list item for me. I wanna sound massiveeeeEEE Now’s also a good time to mention that I moved back to New York. I could say a lot on this but maybe it’s best just to say that it feels healthy for my life. I’m grateful for my time living in Philly I still plan on being there quite often. And I’m also really excited to be back in NY. finally - just wanna say f*ck SCOTUS. I’m far from an expert on this but slide 2 is a list of abortion resources (ty @drkbrandi for posting & @cloud_i_a for sharing with me).
