To a beautiful soul who will always be part of our lives🕊️ This session is one that hits extremely close to the heart for me.. Last September, God called one of my dearest childhood friends Maddie home to heaven. At the time, we had a mother daughter session in my books. That session didn’t get to happen & I’ll forever wish it had. When Lexie and Melissa, Maddie’s sister and mom, came to me a few months ago about wanting to have that session, I knew it would be special and a way I could help in honoring the memory of Maddie. This shoot held more than just smiles and a stunning location.. we celebrated the bond between these two resilient women as mother and daughter, while honoring our girl. As the session went on, we knew Maddie was there with us, showing up in all the little orbs and sun flares — even though we knew she would have hated being there and being forced to take photos lol I’ll forever be grateful to the LeBeau family for trusting me with capturing such a beautiful tribute and moment for them. I’ll forever be proud of these two as they continue to heal from something that never should’ve been. You two are the strongest human beings, I’m so thankful to know you, and to have known and loved Maddie. Thanks for showing up to the session Maddie, you’re forever so loved💛
