Somehow @edsheeran had managed to get me a slot on the @ellendegeneres show. I was a bit freaked out and amazed but everything at that time was moving so quickly I didn’t have time to over think it too much. I was absolutely fine until about half way through the song when suddenly nerves started to appear in my toes, and as I’m singing the song in front of millions of people and being watched by Ed and Ellen I feel those nerves carry on moving right up through my body. It was the strangest sensation. All I remember thinking is “keep it together, keep it together, keep it together.” I think I just about did.
