Standing less than a foot tall, weighing 2-3 pounds and known for their striking blue coloring, Little Blue Penguins are the world’s smallest penguin species. Their home at Birch Aquarium at Scripps includes an 18,000-gallon pool. Visitors can watch these adorable little guys in action as they build nests, swim, interact and play.
