Autonomy is out everywhere today. We’re all really proud of this one. It’s been incredibly hard for me to write a post about this. I’ve been typing and deleting words over and over for an hour. But I guess all you have to know is that this is the most honest I’ve ever been about anything I’ve struggled with, and these past three years have been the hardest of my life. They’ve been really hard for all of us. It means a lot for you to be listening to our music. We all worked so hard on this even though there’s a lot that almost made this not happen and almost made us give up. Here are the people who made it worthwhile, and who we couldn’t have made this album without: @alex_farrar, who engineered, mixed, and co produced. @spencerkeasey, who’s had our back since day one. @carlsaff, who mastered our music. All of our closest friends and loved ones who gave endless support. @forevercursed, who joined Secret Shame 5 years ago and showed us how to do basically everything we know how to do now. @good_clean_pun who started the band in the first place, and has held it down in many ways for the past 6 years. Both of these people work crazy hard and constantly inspire me. I would be so lost without them. We all can’t wait to share these songs with you in person.
