Returning Home: In loving memory of Joan We’ve been absent from social media for a few weeks as sadly, on Friday, Tom’s grandmother Joan passed away. A truly one of a kind individual, she spent a large part of her early life living on the West Coast of Scotland. It was her many tales of growing up in Bracara, exploring the beautiful beaches at Morar (pictured) and her love of all the local wildlife, that began a fascination with this country for Tom from a young age. And it’s ultimately thanks to her that we now call Scotland our home too. While it has felt like dark clouds have gathered above us in recent days, it’s reassuring to know that she will be able to return to enjoy a place as beautiful as she was once more. And that we can continue to tell our own stories of this magical country, as she always did.
