Giving back has always been a fundamental part of who we are as a company. Since Olé & Obrigado was founded, we have raised over $750,000 to support important causes that make this world a better place. In addition to supporting cancer research, people with disabilities, and oyster farmers, we are now also giving back to the environment. We are currently financing 3 projects that offset 100% of our carbon emissions, which stands at 1,610 yearly metric tons. These emissions are generated by shipping wine to all our distributor, restaurant, and retailer partners across America, as well as by the administrative and commuting functions of our employees. As of today, every new back label printed in Spain and Portugal will feature the carbon neutral certification stamp from CarbonHero. You can expect to see these new back labels in the US soon. As both individuals and corporate citizens, our imprint is global. By giving back to the environment, we are not only helping all growers make more sustainable wines, but most importantly, we are contributing to a cleaner planet.
