Soups of Austin Pt. 10: Lobster Bisque 🦞
What I like about Maine Lobster Bisque is that it tastes like someone turned a fancy dinner into a cozy sweater: super creamy, packed with sweet lobster chunks, and hits you with that fresh-from-the-ocean vibe and I got these from @masonslobster. (8 oz. Cup for $5, add extra lobster for $4)
While I was here, I grabbed a few more items like:
🦞 Classic Lobster Roll: Served chilled cold with mayo and lemon butter. Fresh and a little briny - no fancy tricks, just pure, unapologetic lobster bliss. ($20.50)
🥓 Lobster BLT Roll: salty, smoky, and surf-and-turn levels of extra, like the ocean and a bacon grease sunset eloped on your taste buds. ($20.50)
🥪 Lobster Grilled Cheese: This was probably my favorite of the 3 sandwiches! When it comes right out, you get this fun cheese pull paired with tender, sweet lobster meat and gooey white cheddar and 10/10 would risk burning the roof of my mouth again ($16)
🧀 Lobster Mac & Cheese: similar sentiments as above, but this offers a golden, crispy breadcrumb top that gives a crunch you didn’t know you needed. Would eat all that I can until I need to unbutton my pants. ($16)
Though this spot is a smaller chain (with ~30 locations) I found their quality to be reliable enough to curb cravings especially for the fair price you pay (while others charge $30+ for rolls!)
