In response to multiple calls & emails regarding increased mosquito activity in the Bolsa Chica Wetlands area, the Orange County Mosquito & Vector Control District (OCMVCD) is continuously inspecting & treating the area. The next treatment will take place on 9/16 & 9/17 between 3:30am-5am. Residents should see a reduction in mosquito activity within the next 1-2 weeks. To reduce the potential for mosquito bites, @ocvectorcontrol advises residents to wear long, loose-fitting clothing, and EPA-registered repellent.
