I know we just celebrated the twins’ 1st birthday but today marks another big moment for us. It’s one year since the boys got to leave the NICU and come home to spend Christmas with their family. It was a stressful 3 weeks while they gained weight and strength but I look back with massive gratitude and admiration for the NICU staff who were so amazing and nurturing during this crazy time. That combined with Meghan’s endless love and positive energy enabled the boys to cruise through their NICU stint like champs...even though it was very scary at the time. The boys are now super healthy little chunky meatballs who love to mess with everything. Insane to think back to how small they were as you can see from Cary holding onto my finger.
