Posting this string of thought again, because the former post was deleted and I received plenty of messages from you that it resonated. Makes me happy when it does. Here is to art, here is to keep on going. Why create. Why sit down and produce something that didn’t exist before. Creativity is the playful language of inspiration. And thought creates desires which creates inspiration. With it comes a longing. A longing to express a language without words. To express the feeling of falling in love. To capture the fleeting beauty we see and want to tell others about. An artist is a translator for the audience. A key to a realm that they want others to see. But creativity is not just reserved for artists. We all are creative every day. With our choices, with our thoughts, with our actions. Creativity is evolution. Even in the most little things. The food you choose, the scenic route you take, the compliment you give. Everything we choose to take action in is creativity expressed and it sets off a whole set of other thoughts and actions, often unbeknownst to us in others around us so they can experience their creative thought. We should honor our choices as the creative magic they are. As a mirror of our experience. Not judging them as good or bad, but as language of feeling. And what they make us feel reminds us who we are and who we are not, which is a choice in itself. We are creating ourselves through them. We are all artists. We are our own piece of art. Where we add dots and strokes of color every day to express the beauty we feel in the ever longing painting of falling in love.
