QT Art Camp Presents: Vogue Break Down with Angel Glasby and José Lapaz-Rodríguez August 25, 2022 | 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET @qtartcamp is excited to announce its summer series of art workshops for queer and trans youth taking place in New York. These workshops are free and welcome to youth ages 13-19. Join to work with NYC-based artists to learn new skills, discuss art with your peers and mentors, and leave with a finished art piece. In this workshop, students will learn the power of self-expression through dance. Focused on the movement of femme vogue—one of the many rich art forms brought to us by the queer BIPOC community. Students will learn the fundamentals of how to warm up their bodies, how to maximize musicality, and the importance of connecting with an audience while performing.
