@michael_prichinello took CCC’s 190 for a quick run up to to Hudson a few weeks back and left some thoughts below. ⁠ -⁠ -⁠ “I’m a long-standing BMW fan and owner. However, between the E30 and 190E, I prefer the Mercedes-Benz. Both perform brilliantly and feel light and composed, dancing in the corners. But for me, the Mercedes has a better presence. It looks monolithic and heavy in photos, but standing next to the 190, it’s striking how tiny it actually is. The proportions are also much more sophisticated. Not macho and hulking, but macho in a Valentino suit. The BMW strikes me as more of an automotive track suit and backwards cap. A jock.
