PSA: Not everyone who has acne wants to exfoliate all the time. From moisturizers to sunless tanners, SO many products have exfoliants in them, and only sometimes are they prominently advertised on the bottle. I’ll say it until I’m blue in the face, but learning to PARE BACK on exfoliation actually helped my acne-prone skin immensely. It concerns me that so many products have hidden exfoliants in them because I fear that skincare newbs fall into the same trap as me and end up with a compromised skin barrier bc they don't know what ingredients they're putting on their face.
