I've known Rollie for over decade, and knew about him as a musician probably since I was 17. Having seen his video for Black Hand on Much Music, at the time we met he was the first "rapper" I'd ever met in real life. Formative stuff. It's been an honour to work alongside someone who helped form my early ideas of what it meant to be a musician and artist in Canada. When he asked me to CD his project back in October 2020, I never expected things to come full circle like this. And lastly, If anyone deserves to win Polaris it's Rollie! Hardest working dude in Canada. Proud of you bro, still can't believe we did it haha
