A TRIBE CALLED QUEST - NYC circa 1991 - I don't remember what the idea was when we made these few photographs we did this day, probably not much more than being friends with them and having a hand in helping them get signed, enjoying the music too also inspires me, maybe my favorite record of theirs "Buggin Out" had just dropped and i thought it would be cool to get some good photos made, or maybe Tip just asked if i can make a few with them like i had of others that had inspired him from the same neighborhood of Hollis five years earlier, good folks. And what about the last album they made that came out a few years ago? “We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service” It’s incredible- one of the greatest reunion/come back LP’s ever!
