thought this was cool, wanted to share #transparenttime? A recent church service about the people you chose to surround yourself with had me pondering the choices I make — not that I keep bad company in my free time, but more so keep little to none at all. I jotted a couple names down of girls on the team that I very much admire & though I would benefit from spending more time with & what do you know? I was blessed enough to spend my weekend with 3 of them & even run a lil relay with 2 them! Something else I also think is share worthy/ noteworthy: the entirety of my team as a whole. Between the bad luck two weekends ago and this past weekend, it has been so inspiring to see the grace and poise that these ladies hold in the face of adversity & how they bring their best no matter what the circumstances. It is times like these that I am reminded of why I chose to stay an extra year; that it is the people that make the place and I’ll be darned if I haven’t found heaven on earth in Fayetteville, AR 📸: @mralanlam
