Julia & I on our most recent vs. our first trip to Hawaii. In 2015 after Julia graduated High School, we decided to book a trip to Maui, Hawaii together. We were broke, unable to rent a car (we weren’t 21 yet) and no plan. Back then we were just trying to figure it out. We had absolutely no idea what we were going to do with our lives now that we had both graduated High School. All we had was a passion for taking photos & videos. On Hawaii, we would spend almost every day documenting our trip and creating little videos. Mind you, we were not good at it, but we did it anyway. Now, 10 years later I am beyond grateful when I look back at 17 year old Julia & 19 year old Janine. Despite having no clue what they were doing, they did it anyway and paved the way for the next years to come. Years where their hobby would turn into their career and they would be able to live a life they had always dreamed of. Without them we wouldn’t be where we are at right now. Moral of the story? It doesn’t matter if you are not where you want to be yet, if you are lost in life or if other people are judging you. ALWAYS follow your dreams and do it anyway.
