A late August ascent of Snowfield Peak in Washington’s North Cascades National Park. Standing at 8,347 feet, Snowfield ranks as the 91st highest peak on the Bulger List (Washington’s 100 highest mountains). Climbers on this route cross two unique glaciers, the Colonial and Neve, before scrambling (class 3/4) to the summit: 21.5 miles RT with 8,135’ of elevation gain.
