kinda (extremely) sad i didn’t lose my passport! this past month has been one of the biggest, scariest, and most exciting adventures of my life. words cannot explain how precious honduras is to me!! i love the slow mornings and rainy afternoons. i love serving and learning and trying new things. i love my co-interns, tessa, cassie, and maddyn. i love the people and i love my Heavenly Father most of all. the story of Jesus walking on water has been on my heart during my time here (matthew 14:22-33). i would encourage you to read it, it’s become one of my very favorite passages of scripture! verse 28 and 29 have stood out to me the most this past month. Jesus calls to peter to join Him on the water, and without hesitation and with his eyes on Jesus, peter climbs out of the boat and begins walking on the water to be with the Son of God. when we follow Jesus recklessly and with complete dependence on Him, the most miraculous things happen. keep your eyes on HIM! i am beyond grateful for the Lord’s faithfulness.
