SOFAM FOCUS PRIZE x Art On Paper We're delighted to announce you the winner of the SOFAM Focus Prize announced yesterday during our opening night : Jo De Smedt @jo_de_smedt Represented by Galerie EL @galerie_el Booth 44 Art on Paper, in collaboration with SOFAM, the copyright management association for visual artists in Belgium, presents the SOFAM Focus Prize. The prize rewards the artist with a prize of 2000€ and a free membership to SOFAM. SOFAM is a non-profit cooperative society, managed by artists. It manages and defends the copyrights of visual artists in Belgium. In addition to its main tasks, which include receiving and distributing collective and resale rights, providing legal aid, or managing licences, it also supports the cultural sector - in a modest way - through artistic actions and partnerships. It does this by offering prizes, scholarships and organising exhibitions at the Maison Européenne des Auteurs et des Autrices. SOFAM has been supporting Art on Paper since 2016.
