I don’t know if it’s relief or an overwhelming sense of gratitude, but this feels like a big deal. I was ready to throw the towel in, honestly. Sharing art online lately has felt so defeating, and with a lot going on and a lot of adjustments.. some happy, some sad.. Watching my art journey come to an end was heartbreaking. I can’t say it enough, whatever happened to certain apps within the last year has just been devastating to small artists.. all our hard work and dreams just getting tossed into this crushing void. And I didn’t want to make art anymore. So when I had this idea to create a postcard club, I didn’t know if I should follow it, and I most certainly didn’t know how to. But I did, and I remember my thoughts during month one- this is a good thing to have in the back, something on the side. But honestly? It’s become the priority, and I feel really content and excited to think about giving up the stress of trying to be seen for the joy of having a small, intimate club full of warmth, nostalgia, wanderlust & connection. So my advice is this- if you’re scared, do it. If you don’t know how, start anyway. You’ll figure it all out as you go. But it you never start, because you’re waiting to be better or know more.. then you’ll just never start. A huge ✨ THANK YOU ✨ to everyone who signed up for Postcard Club within the last week- my little club doubled in size and my creativity really reached new levels- thank you for giving me that magic. My club members who have been here since day one, you mean so much to this club. My heart is so happy & full. Thank you thank you. I can’t wait for you to see your December envelopes! Sign ups for December are closed, but you can still join the fun and start your adventure with Postcard Club in time for the next envelope! 💌 #postcardclub #handmadeart #christmastime #mostwonderfultimeoftheyear #holidaymood #snailmail #travelart #travellovers #smallartist #wanderlusttravel
