There are two dates to remember when you think of Baracuta. 1937 and 1938. 1937 brought about Baracuta and the first version of the G9 Harrington Jacket, one of the worlds most iconic jackets. 1938 saw the completion of the G9 Harrington. Our signature Fraser Tartan, found in our garments, was bequeathed to us that same year after a trip to Scotland by Brigadier Simon Christopher Joseph Fraser, the 25th Clan Chief of the Clan Fraser of Lovat. To this day Tartan continues to be a huge part of Scottish heritage and Fraser Tartan continues to line the inside of Baracuta’s pieces like the G9, G4 and G12 Jackets to name but a few.
