10 of the Best Things I Did in 2024: 10. Made it to 5 More MLB Stadiums. 25 down, 5 to go! 9. Miami and then Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando. Miami is super unique, and HHN is always a blast. 8. Visited more state parks. Night skies at Cherry Springs, waterfalls at Ricketts Glen, and canyon views at Leonard Harrison among the best highlights. Honorable mention to Cloudland Canyon in GA too. 7. Staying in Sarasota for Orioles Spring Training and enjoying some of America's best beaches and Florida's best towns. 6. Yet another mission trip with MGM and FCA to the Dominican Republic. Will be another great week starting Saturday! 5. Attended a College Football Playoff game in the freezing cold at Penn State. Absolutely worth the hypothermia. 4. Boston. Great city full of history, capped off by seeing Jackson's Holliday's debut while sitting mere feet away from his dad at Fenway Park. Also, some incredible pizza there and in New Haven. 3. Stayed On-Site at Disney World. First time in 6+ years, and it really does add a level of magic to the WDW experience. Highly, highly recommend Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs. 2. Southern California. Whirlwind trip to see the best of LA, Orange County, and San Diego. Absolutely love every time I get out there. 1. Changed Employers and Career Fields for a Better Work-Life Balance. Walmart E-Commerce ain't perfect, but it's so much less stressful than running a department store. Best decision of the year by far!
