Two lip-centred brands, by two future-thinking groups of women. @ctzncosmetics (pic 1-2) was founded by three sisters on their quest to perfect a nude lip colour for every skin tone (I’m the # 2 Bali shade in their Nudiversal Lip Duo)Aleena, Aleezeh, and Naseeha Khan each hold different roles within their brand, working in harmony as co-founders. @shadembeauty (pic 3-4) is the brainchild of two v experienced beauty industry experts, Nour Khalife (pictured) and Jolie Nubani. Aiming to not just include, but actively celebrate Arab women in the beauty conversation, their hero product is the Muse Matte Liquid Lipstick, which is halal, vegan, and super long-lasting (as tried and tested by me).
