It’s taken me a few days to process and digest my experience last weekend attending the Breathwork resurrection workshop in Melbourne. Let me preface this by saying breathwork and meditation are not new to me, in fact it’s my intrigue around breathwork that led me to the work of @believeinyourbreath who I’ve been following on social media for a while, I was captivated by the work that they do and the experiences shared by those who attended their workshops. I felt an inner pull. I was nervous to book my ticket and nervous at what to expect if I’m really honest, in a room full of strangers on a Saturday morning in Melbourne I arrived ready to have an experience but I could never have imagined the profound impact this 5 hour workshop on a Saturday in August would have on me. An experience that has left a lasting impression on not only my physical body, my nervous system obviously , my emotional and spiritual well being but also simply on me as a person. Deep I knowwww. I believe nothing is by accident, and there’s a spark that has ignited within, a deeper need for understanding all that I can about this ancient tool so many have lost touch with that ultimately bridges the gap between our conscious mind our subconscious mind and our body. I thought I knew a lot about the science of the breath, but how little I had actually experienced. Thank you to everyone who was so brave to show up that day and put the work in on what was a profound day of human connection and healing. So powerful. Thank you Beau & Kirsty. 🙏 I’d love to hear your experiences with breathwork Let me know X
