deeeeep in wedding planning now and wow i’m learning something new every day 😵‍💫😅 1. venue is #1!! i’m sure most people knew this but i had no idea how long the venue hunting process could take because of various things to consider like location, their availability, catering, etc 2. wedding dresses can take up to 8 months to finalize 🤯 you typically cannot just pick a dress and take it home with you; you have to order it with your size, get it delivered and then tailor it so it fits you! 3. venues charge for everything… so make sure you ask about all taxes, fees, if you can bring in external vendors (if you want), it will add up 😭 4. wedding invite websites charge you for e-vites! idk why i thought it was free or lower cost but it costs money to send the invite directly to your guests’ emails, to generate a link to share, and to customize the colors of your envelope, etc hah 5. you. will. care. hahaha i thought i was a “chill” bride but nope lol i care about the colors, textures, fonts, all of it ahahahhaa anything else i should be on the lookout for? hahah #2026bride #2026wedding
